First we put the well-washed potatoes, to boil, in enough water to cover them.

We add them in a bowl, separate from the rest of the ingredients.
We make a classic mayonnaise.
Mix an egg yolk with a teaspoon of mustard and a little salt and drip oil little by little, mixing vigorously, and when it thickens, add the juice of 1/2 lemon and drizzle oil until you get the desired consistency.


Mix the mayonnaise with the potatoes from the bowl, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix them lightly so that they don't crush.

You can also add olives or even other ingredients, according to everyone's taste.

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 small celery root
  • 250 g peas
  • 150 g cucumber in vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 350 g classic mayonnaise (recipe here & gtclick)

First I boiled the peas. I used frozen peas which I put directly in the boiling water and, after it boiled, I left it for 5 minutes. Then I put it in a strainer to drain and cool.

We clean and boil the potatoes, carrots and celery root until the fork enters them easily, no more. We leave them to cool and chop them into cubes.

I put the salad in a form with a detachable ring 22 cm in diameter and left it to cool for a few hours.

Add salt, pepper, mayonnaise (stop a few tablespoons for decoration) and mix well to blend.

Then I decorated the salad with the rest of the mayonnaise, sliced ​​boiled eggs, cucumber in vinegar and a few sprigs of parsley. Enjoy!

Ingredients for the cauliflower salad recipe with mayonnaise

  • -1 kg cauliflower
  • -1 yolk
  • -1 head of garlic
  • -1 teaspoon of mustard
  • -1 small Greek yogurt
  • -300 ml oil
  • -salt

Method of preparation

We put a pot of water on the fire.

Add a tablespoon of salt. We unwrap the cauliflower in bunches. When the water boils, put it to boil and leave for about 7-8 minutes. We take it out of the water and let it cool in a strainer, to drain the excess water.
