If you like Pavlova cake, I'm sure you'll find this roll! The same fabulous and delicate taste, but a preparation at least 2 times faster and simpler. I made you curious, didn't I?

The first time I prepared Pavlova was because I was trying to get rid of some egg whites left over from other dishes. Afterwards, I tried to keep my egg whites on the pretext of repeating it. I had tasted Pavlova in confectioneries, but I didn't think it was great: I could feel an artificial taste. Well, the homemade version is the most delicious!

INGREDIENTS

400 ml whipped cream

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Fresh or sweet fruit.

The meringue is prepared simply: I put the egg whites in a bowl with salt and mixed them until they became foam, then I added the sugar (in 2-3 steps), until I obtained a firm and glossy meringue. At the end, I added the starch and vinegar and mixed for another minute or two.

I turned the meringue in the oven tray (lined with baking paper), heated the oven to 150 degrees and leveled the meringue well with a cake spatula. It should not be uniform, but only well distributed in the tray.

I baked the meringue for 30 minutes at 150 degrees, then let it cool in the pan. (Removed from the oven!)

On the kitchen counter, I spread a baking paper the size of a tray, overturned the meringue, and carefully peeled off the paper on which it was baked.

For the cream I mixed all the ingredients (except the fruit) until I got a firm composition. Be careful, do not mix excessively, the cream can be cut.

I spread 3/4 of the cream over the meringue sheet, sprinkled the pieces of fresh strawberries and cherry jam, then rolled long, using baking paper. It didn't crack at all, but if it happens, I'm sorry it's not a problem, you will coat the roll in the remaining cream and any imperfections will be covered.

I moved the roll to a plate and garnished it with the remaining cream, strawberry slices and grated chocolate.

The roll should be kept cold for at least two hours before serving.

It looks great, is light and delicious, so it deserves a place of honor on your holiday or weekend tables!


Chicken roll!

Chicken roll is very easy to prepare. You can cook it for both everyday and festive meals. It is an excellent alternative for sausages: delicious and useful!

INGREDIENTS (FOR 2 ROLLS):

-1300 g of chicken (2 breasts + upper thighs (without skin and bones))

-a spoonful of spices for chicken

-salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1.Wash and dry all pieces of meat.

2.Put the chicken legs between 2 pieces of food foil and beat them a little with the meat hammer, to give them an approximately equal thickness.

3.Put the beaten meat in a deep bowl. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste, spices for chicken (or those you like), a little gelatin and garlic passed through the garlic press. Mix very well.

4. Remove the small portion of meat, which is attached to each chicken breast. Then incompletely cut the chicken breast in half, starting from the thicker edge: this way it will look like an "open book" and a larger surface.

5. Cover each chicken breast with cling film and beat it with a meat hammer on both sides to make it softer and evenly thick. Proceed similarly to the pieces, which you separated from each chicken breast.

6.Then overlap the large chicken breast with the piece of meat, which you previously separated from it, at the edge. Lightly beat them with a hammer to join them.

7. Sprinkle the meat "top" with salt, ground black pepper, chicken spices and a little gelatin. If you want, you can spread it with mayonnaise or cover it with a layer of fried mushrooms, chopped greens, etc. (we left it as is).

8. Spread the chicken legs on the "top" of the chicken breast. Then roll it into a compact roll with cling film. To give it a more neat shape, roll it a few times on the work surface, twisting the ends of the food foil.

9. Wrap the roll with another 1-2 layers of cling film, tying the ends at the end.

10.Then wrap it in 2 layers of aluminum foil, bending their ends so that they do not overlap (in different directions - otherwise you risk unfolding).

11.Doing similarly, prepare the other roll. Put them in a deep pan and pour boiling water over them (this should be half their height).

12. Bake the chicken rolls for 60 minutes in the preheated oven to 180 ° C.

13. Allow them to cool completely, then refrigerate for a few hours.
