Chocolate and Ginger Cheesecake Recipe of 11-04-2016 [Updated on 29-08-2018]

That of the chocolate and ginger cheesecake is another recipe taken from my second book, "I Menu di Misya 2" from which I then made a video recipe that you can find at the bottom of the article. The combination of the spiciness of ginger and the sweetness of chocolate is really amazing, a bit like chocolate and chilli, so to speak, but more exotic: P To prepare this dessert I took inspiration from a recipe of Gordon Ramsay, adapting it a little to my tastes, especially in the part relating to sugar. I used the ginger powder, if you want you can use the fresh, chopped one, decreasing the quantities a little. This chocolate cheesecake is becoming a real catchphrase between those who have tasted it and those who are proposing it again, enjoying a crazy success, I admit that it is a real satisfaction to hear the praises of my cheesecake, one more reason to parvi the recipe and invite you to try it;) This morning I am writing to you from Milan where I have a culinary commitment not just, I can not tell you more at the moment, except that I am very excited and above all agitated (so as not to change eh), so I cut short and go to get ready, I'll leave you to the recipe for my chocolate cheesecake and I'll update you later, good luck to me;)

Method

How to make chocolate and ginger cheesecake

Finely chop the biscuits in a blender and mix them with the melted butter and a pinch of ginger.

Pour the mixture into a springform pan lined with parchment paper and level and compact with your hands.
Put in the fridge and leave to harden for 30 minutes.

Whip the cheeses with the sugar.

Add the vanilla essence and then one egg at a time.

Finally, stir in the ginger and the melted chocolate.

Pour the cream cheese over the biscuit base and level the surface.

Bake at 170 ° C in a preheated convection oven and cook for about 1 hour: a light crust must form on the surface, but the inside must remain moist and creamy.

Let cool, then unmold and serve the chocolate and ginger cheesecake, perhaps accompanied by a scoop of ice cream.

And here's the video.
