I was craving a moist, buttery and very lemony lemon plumcake so I set to work hoping to get the desired result and luckily I hit the mark. The recipe that I developed to make this lemon plum cake involves the use of a lemon yogurt, the juice and peel of an organic lemon, then I glazed it with powdered sugar and citrus juice, a taste and an intoxicating perfume, try it and then tell me. Method

How to make lemon plum cake

Melt the butter and let it cool to room temperature.
Mix flour, grated lemon zest, and baking powder in a bowl

Beat the eggs with the sugar for 10 minutes, until the eggs are well swollen.


Add the butter (now cold), the yogurt and the lemon juice. Mix well to mix everything.

Finally add the sifted flour with the baking powder, stirring gently.

Pour into the greased and floured mold and place in a preheated oven at 180 ° for 30-40 minutes.

Once ready, take it out of the oven then decorate the lemon plum cake with icing sugar or water ice
