Salty Plumcake Recipe of of 04-01-2008 [Updated on 11-02-2019]
The salty plumcake was a pleasant discovery, it is an easy and very quick rustic to prepare, has a really soft dough and lends itself to a very versatile filling.
I found this salty plumcake recipe on another cooking blog, where it was stuffed with cooked ham, olives and cheese, I had all the ingredients at home and I tried it last night to serve it for dinner. Really delicious, I think I'll make it shortly using some other filling :)
How to make salty plumcake
Cut the ham and cheese into cubes. Pitted the olives and cut them into small pieces.
In a bowl, whip the eggs with salt and pepper.
When the eggs are frothy, add the milk and oil slowly.
Now add the flour and the instant yeast to the dough.
Add the cooked ham, cheese, olives and grated Parmesan to the mixture.
Mix the dough with a wooden spoon until everything is mixed.
Pour the mixture into a previously buttered and floured loaf pan.
Bake the salted plumcake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C and bake for about 40 minutes.
Let the salty plum cake cool before removing it from the mold, and serve.
