Autumn biscuits recipe by of 26-10-2011 [Updated on 13-07-2016]
Last Saturday I opened the pantry, where I have everything I need to prepare the desserts, and I took out the honey, hazelnuts, almonds and raisins and decided to make biscuits. I decided to use whole wheat flour. instead of the white one and the raw cane sugar instead of the granulated one, I mixed everything and came out of the biscuits that make me so much autumn, hence their name. Needless to say, my husband based himself on the cookie sheet and made them all out in one afternoon, leaving me only one cookie for tasting, well these are satisfactions too;)
How to make autumn cookies
Soften the raisins in a glass with the grappa.
In a bowl, mix the butter with the brown sugar, add the egg and form a cream.
Add the flour, baking powder and knead until you get a well-tied dough with a homogeneous consistency.
Finally add the squeezed raisins and chopped hazelnuts.
With the mixture obtained, form many balls the size of a walnut and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
Coarsely chop the almonds and mix them with the honey.
Lightly crush each ball and spread the almonds and honey over the biscuits.
Bake the autumn cookies at 180 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
