Recipe of beef medallions with sage of 12-03-2016 [Updated on 15-03-2016]
Beef medallions with sage are a refined, tasty and easy to make second course. The meat is wrapped in slices of bacon and flavored with sage leaves and green peppercorns that give off smell and flavor during cooking. The type of meat to use for this recipe is a bit difficult to explain, you have to ask the butcher for the meat to make medallions and he will understand;) This is another recipe from my book Misya 2 menus, one course of the menu dedicated to lunch with the mother-in-law and of which I shot the video you can find at the end of the article;) Today my day started a bit strange, Ivano left early this morning for Rome where he will be a teacher in a course that will engage him throughout the day, Ely and I are organizing for a day of shopping so as to use this strange Saturday;) A sweet greeting to those who pass by.
How to make sage beef medallions
Cut the bacon slices in half lengthwise. Wrap each medallion with a slice, using the two halves to cover the entire circumference.
Add at least a couple of sage leaves to each medallion.
Finally tie everything with string.
Brown the garlic clove in a little oil.
Add the meat and brown it well.
Turn the medallions, add the green pepper and blend with the white wine.
And here is the video recipe.
