This rice timbale is a very convenient dish to prepare and that can also be prepared in advance, then just a step in the oven is enough to melt the mozzarella inside and the dish is ready to be enjoyed. Method

How to make a rice timbale with zucchini and bacon

Chop the onion and sauté it in a saucepan with 50g butter.
Add the rice and toast it in the sauce.

Add the wine and let it simmer over high heat, then cover the rice with the broth and continue cooking.
Add more broth as it dries during cooking.

When cooked, turn off the heat and stir the risotto with the remaining butter and Parmesan.

Cut the courgettes into slices and grill them on a hot plate.

Brown the bacon slices in a pan.

Line a loaf pan (25x10 cm) with parchment paper, then lined with alternating slices of zucchini and bacon.

Cover with half the rice and add the mozzarella.

Cover with the remaining rice, then with the slices of zucchini and bacon always alternating.

Bake the flan in the oven for about ten minutes at 200 ° C just long enough to melt the mozzarella. Then turn the flan over onto a serving dish and serve.
