I've been preparing the chicken since evening. I still talk to him here and there, where he has another flake, I wash him well and put him in a bowl. I pepper it and grease it with a little garlic sauce, which is salty, so I don't add any more salt. I cover the bowl and put it in the fridge until the next day.
A 1l bottle well washed and filled with water will receive the hug of the chicken from the refrigerator. In a deeper tray in which I put water, I put the bottle with the chicken on it and carefully put them in the oven already hot. From now on, I have nothing to do but make sure that the water in the tray does not drop completely and that I add more boiled water when needed. The chicken takes care to water the glass to moisten it and to bake it nicely.
When it has the color I like, after about an hour, we turn off the stove and wait for it to cool down a bit so we can take it out without the danger of burning or scalding.
I put it whole on the table and everyone chooses what they want to eat. In the meantime, I also prepared a garnish. It's usually a puree, that's what Alex wants, but it can also be french fries and rice and whatever you want!
