Kelly Osbourne's Fiance Helps Her Eat Healthily

The singer's engagement to a vegan chef has its benefits

Kelly Osbourne's fiance helps her stay on track with her healthy eating habits.

Kelly Osbourne’s impending nuptials aren’t the only thing keeping her conscious of what she eats.

According to a recent People magazine article, the famous singer’s fiancé, Matthew Mosshart, is a vegan chef and helped Osbourne realize the importance of eating healthily. “We’re very big on substitutes and making our own condiments,” she said on a recent episode of The Talk. “He made me realize how many calories and how much bad stuff is in it…He has showed me a whole new sector of food I thought I’d never eat…and it’s yummy!”

The pair kept their engagement a secret for six months and only recently disclosed their plans to marry. “In Hollywood people don’t realize that you get married for love,” Osbourne said. “They think you get married for attention and I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to do another reality show.”

[UPDATED] Griffin Johnson Was Finally Asked About Those Kelly Osbourne Dating Rumors

[UPDATED 10/26/2020 12:57 PM]: Griffin Johnson and his manager, Michael Gruen, are finally responding to the rumors that Griffin is dating Kelly Osbourne after being spotted at dinner with her earlier this month.

When asked by Hollywood Fix about the dinner date, Michael explained that Griffin is trying to become a host and "Kelly's one of the best." He then called Kelly a "mentor" for Griffin.

Meanwhile, Griffin, stayed pretty quiet during the questioning and it seems like he has nothing to say about it. When asked if he was going to discuss his relationship with Kelly on his new podcast, he said he wasn't going to.

Original post: Griffin Johnson was spotted on what looks to be a date almost three months following his split from Dixie D'Amelio. The TikTok star went to dinner at Craigs in West Hollywood last night with British actress and television personality Kelly Osbourne.

The two were spotted leaving the restaurant and getting into a car together. They seemed to be really enjoying themselves in the photos caught by the paparazzi.

The pair was asked if they were dating by the paps, but they repeatedly ignored the question.

Many took to Twitter to share their shock at this seemingly random pairing, especially given their 14-year age gap. "Who had Kelly Osbourne and Griffin Johnson going on a date on their 2020 bingo card. because it wasn't me-" one person wrote, retweeting a tweet from Tana Mongeau who was also surprised by the coupling.

Another fan compared the two to Addison Rae's relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, which many are also confused about.

Where are all these relationships coming from lmao first Addison & Kourtney, now Kelly Osbourne. and Griffin?? pic.twitter.com/0CIbtzA7jV

The date (or non-date&mdashwe don't know yet) comes about a week after Griffin's fellow Sway House member Noah Beck confirmed that he's dating Dixie D'Amelio. Up until this point, Griffin was not connected to anyone following his breakup with Dixie, but maybe he's finally ready to move on.

Kelly Osbourne Revealed She Had Gastric Sleeve Surgery Before Losing 85 Pounds

Over the last two years, Kelly Osbourne has undergone a complete transformation physically and mentally, and she&rsquos finally ready to talk about it. On the August 20 episode of Dax Holt and Adam Glyn&rsquos Hollywood Rawpodcast, the TV personality shared for the first time about having gastric sleeve surgery, which helped her lose 85 pounds.

&ldquoI had surgery I don&rsquot give a f*ck what anyone has to say,&rdquo she told the hosts, addressing rumors about her weight loss. &ldquoI did it, I&rsquom proud of it, they can suck sh*t. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.&rdquo

She emphasized that it still wasn&rsquot a quick fix. &ldquoThe kind of surgery I had&hellipif you don&rsquot work out and you don&rsquot eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction,&rdquo she said. She also prepared her mind for the huge milestone by completing a year of &ldquostandalone therapy&rdquo before going under the knife.

&ldquoThe number one thing I had to do was get happy. I had to fix my head before I could fix my body,&rdquo she said. &ldquoYou can never go into this if you&rsquore not in a good mindset.&rdquo In addition to therapy, she also decided to stop drinking, and has now been sober for two and a half years.

&ldquoWhat people don&rsquot realize is, [the surgery] cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me,&rdquo she added. &ldquoAll it is, is a push in the right direction. It doesn&rsquot solve all your problems.&rdquo

It&rsquos been a journey for Osbourne, as she was kind of at a breaking point before committing to the operation. &ldquoThis has been two years of me working on this, figuring out if I wanted to be in this [Hollywood] industry, figuring out if I was even capable of even losing this weight,&rdquo she explained. &ldquoI did, and I figured out I wanted to keep going. I didn&rsquot do this for anyone. It was a long process, and now I&rsquom here and everybody is noticing.&rdquo

She actually first addressed the weight loss in the comments of an Instagram photo&mdasha car selfie, to be exact. &ldquoOh my gosh, you lost a lot of weight😘,&rdquo Mama Mai commented. &ldquoThat&rsquos right mamma,&rdquo Osbourne replied. &ldquoI lost 85lbs since I last saw you. Can you believe it?&rdquo

At the beginning of 2020, she wrote a post calling it the &ldquoyear of me.&rdquo &ldquoIt&rsquos time to put myself first, stop taking on other peoples sh*t and be the badass sober women I was born to be,&rdquo she wrote. And despite how troubling 2020 has been for the world at large, she still made it happen.

Kelly Osbourne Celebrates 85-Pound Weight Loss At Her 36th Birthday Bash

Kelly Osbourne just rang in her 36 th birthday (HBD, Kelly!), and she showed off her recent 85-pound weight loss while celebrating.

Kelly kicked off her special day with a HollyGold Productions-sponsored birthday party at the Yamashiro Hollywood restaurant. There was a red carpet set up for the event (because why not?), and she wore a black cloth face mask that said &ldquoVOTE&rdquo on it in several colors. Kelly also rocked a form-fitting black cut-out dress, and she generally looked amazing.

Kelly didn&rsquot post much about the party on Instagram, but she shared a few snaps from friends from the event on her Instagram Stories.

Worth noting: Kelly looks really, really happy.

Kelly shared this summer that she had lost 85 pounds, and she opened up about how she did it in on a podcast. Not only did she change her lifestyle in a meaningful way, but she had gastric sleeve surgery to nudge her in the right direction.

&ldquoI had surgery I don&rsquot give a f*** what anyone has to say,&rdquo Kelly said on the &ldquoHollywood Raw&rdquo podcast, according to People. &ldquoI did it, I&rsquom proud of it. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.&rdquo

Kelly says she also went to therapy for a year to tackle her emotional eating tendencies before going in for surgery. "The number one thing I had to do was get happy," she said. "I had to fix my head before I could fix my body. You can never go into this if you&rsquore not in a good mindset."

She also adopted healthy eating and exercise habits. &ldquoThe kind of surgery I had&hellip if you don&rsquot work out and you don&rsquot eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction,&rdquo Kelly added. "It doesn&rsquot solve all your problems. It&rsquos not a quick fix.&rdquo

Kelly admitted that working on shows like Fashion Police, made her "resentful" of the entertainment industry once she lost the weight, since she felt "invisible" for so long beforehand. &ldquoThis has been two years of me working on this. Figuring out if I wanted to be in this industry, figuring out if I was even capable of even losing this weight,&rdquo she said. &ldquoI did, and I figured out I wanted to keep going. I didn&rsquot do this for anyone. It was a long process, and now I&rsquom here and everybody is noticing.&rdquo

Last week, when Kelly shared the Instagram photo, Olivia TuTram Mai, a.k.a. TV personality Jeannie Mai's mom, commented under Kelly's post. "Oh my gosh, you lost a lot of weight 😘," wrote Mai. Replying to her comment, Kelly admitted she's actually down 85 pounds. "@themamamai that's right mamma Mai I lost 85lbs since I last saw you. Can you believe it? Kaakakaka."

Kelly also shared a photo of her holding up a size 26 clothing tag (about a size 2 in U.S. sizes), writing "Yes. I'm bragging because I worked hard and it feels good. "

This isn't the first time Kelly's publicly talked about her weight. After appearing on the Dancing With The Stars in 2009, Kelly dropped 40 pounds thanks to a combination of her dance rehearsals and switching to a plant-based diet. In 2012, she became vegan with help from her boyfriend at the time, who was also a vegan chef, according to the Daily Express.

She also once told Huffpost that her new diet slowly turned into more of a lifestyle change. "Once I learned how to work out right and eat right, it&rsquos one of those things that you just have to commit to a life change rather than being on a diet. Because a diet doesn&rsquot work. You lose weight and you stop it and it will all come back. So you just have to take baby steps, commit to something and stay true to it."

Kelly started off 2020 with a plan to prioritize self-care. She wrote before the start of the new year. "I have come to the realization that I constantly put the needs of others before my own,&rdquo she wrote in an Instagram post, also celebrating 2.5 years of sobriety. &ldquoI allow myself to be put in situations that make me feel uncomfortable for fear of upsetting someone else. Not forgetting the amount of times I co-sign the bulls&mdash of others."

Is Kelly Osbourne Vegan?

Osbourne – who is the author of “ There Is No F*cking Secret: Letters From a Badass Bitch” – has talked about vegan food since at least 2012. At the time, she spoke about how her the plant-powered cooking of her then-boyfriend Matthew Mosshart, who is a vegan chef, helped her to get to a healthy weight. “I’m happy with how I look now. As long as I’m healthy, do exercise and eat right, that’s the main thing,” she said.

In 2018, plant-based eating was still a focus for the star. She took to Instagram to share her love for vegan mac ‘n’ cheese made by Annie’s Homegrown. “I really miss eating cheese so today I tried ‘vegan shell pasta and creamy sauce’ aka Mac & cheese… you can not tell the difference,” Osbourne wrote online.

“I used to think being a vegan was boring. Now I have more fun with food now than I ever have before,” she later said.

Osbourne’s love for cruelty-free products extends beyond her plate, too. She has publicly shown support for The Body Shop’s anti-animal testing campaign, urging her fans to sign a petition that asked for animal experimentation to be banned around the world. It earned 8.3 million signatures and was delivered to the United Nations for consideration.

Kelly Osbourne Shows off Stunning Weight Loss While Celebrating Her 36th Birthday

On October 27, Kelly turned 36 years old and celebrated the occasion with a birthday party held at the Yamashiro Hollywood restaurant in Los Angeles. The event made headlines for a couple of reasons, including Kelly’s outfit and physique.

The “Project Runway: Junior” judge walked the restaurant’s purple carpet and posed for the photographers rocking a stunning black outfit that really complimented her body.

KELLY OSBOURNE’S BEAUTIFUL ENSEMBLE

Kelly opted for a tight, sleeveless, black dress with no sleeves and a deep neckline, showing off some of her tattoos. Apart from her matching high heels, the TV personality wore her lilac-tinted hair in a retro updo. As always, her makeup was on point.

While Kelly’s outfit was indeed gorgeous, it was her slimmer figure that captured everybody’s attention, especially for the confident pose she chose for the pictures.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s daughter revealed in August 2020 that she had undergone a gastric sleeve surgery sometime in 2018. After that, she lost 85 pounds!

Kelly pointed out that she didn’t care what people said about her esthetic procedure, adding that she was “proud” of it and that it was the best thing she had done.

“The Osbournes” star also revealed that gastric sleeve surgery was not a “quick fix” as it just “moves you in the right direction.” She confessed that if she didn’t work out and eat healthily, she would gain weight again.

[Some men] used to say that she was “great but too fat” to date.

KELLY OSBOURNE GETTING REVENGE ON SEVEN MEN

In late October, Kelly Osbourne appeared in her mom’s talk show “The Talk” to share some details about her weight-loss journey, including that she spent one year going to therapy before actually committing to the procedure.

According to Kelly, the mental transformation had to come first. Apart from that, she explained how she got revenge on seven men who didn’t date her before her surgery.

Kelly Osbourne explained that she was interested in those men before undergoing her medical procedure, but all of them used to say that she was “great but too fat” to date.

After shedding some pounds, those people came back into her life trying to start something, but she didn’t give them a chance. Nowadays, Kelly is just “having fun,” so it might be only a matter of time before we see her dating again.

Kelly Osbourne Goes Vegan and Has ‘More Fun With Food Than Ever Before’

British singer-songwriter, author, and actress, Kelly Osbourne shared a picture of her favorite vegan mac ‘n’ cheese on her Instagram stories.

The celeb snapped a picture of her making a meal using Annie’s Homegrown organic vegan shell pasta and creamy sauce. “I really miss eating cheese so today I tried ‘vegan shell pasta and creamy sauce’ aka Mac & cheese… you can not tell the difference,” she said of the packaged dish.

Osbourne later shared a picture of cucumber on toast, “I used to think being a vegan was boring. Now I have more fun with food now than I ever have before,” she said of the creation.

Osbourne has not confirmed her diet of choice as of late, but she is known to have somewhat of an affinity for a healthy vegan diet. In 2012, the television personality accredited her weight loss to her relationship with the vegan chef, Matthew Mosshart. Although the pair reportedly amicably split the following year, it seems that Osbourne’s love of vegan food stayed with her.

Many celebrities are opting to go vegan or actively reduce their animal product consumption. Actor Mena Suvari recently revealed she has turned her entire wardrobe vegan to mirror her vegan diet, following an epiphany moment at vegan musician Moby’s plant-based restaurant, Little Pine. Actor Kate Winslet reported she and her family keep a plant-based household, and musician Will.i.am has become an outspoken vegan advocate after recently making the diet switch for health reasons.

A growing number of people are making the switch to a plant-based diet for animal welfare, climate change or personal health reasons. A recent report found that 20.6 million animals are saved by eating vegetarian once a week over the course of a decade, making programs such as the wildly successful Meatless Monday campaign more significant than ever. Another recent report found that the food industry could feed significantly more people by cultivating plant-based crops rather than raising livestock animals for food. And in April, Harvard scientists concluded that at least one-third of early deaths could be prevented by shifting to a plant-based diet.

"The Fashion Police" star credits her vegan chef boyfriend, Matthew Mosshart, for helping her lose the last few vanity pounds.

"Over the past two years, I've lost over four-and-a-half stone (63 pounds) -- but I've only lost the last stone since I met Matthew," Osbourne told the Daily Mail.

Brown rice is less refined as white rice, and as a result retains more nutrients. It's also what's referred to as a "slow-release" carbohydrate, which works to keep blood sugar levels steady and energy levels consistent. Tennis all-star Serena Williams likes to fuel up the night before a big match on healthy carbs like brown rice, the NY Times reports.
