Rolls with bacon and cheese

It is not a sophisticated food, nor very healthy. But because I had all the "components" in the fridge and because they were on the road for a few days, I said it was a shame to let them expire. We better cook something with them. And I planted these rolls, which turned out to be very tasty.

It is not a sophisticated or very healthy exercise. But because I had all the "components" in the fridge and because they were on the road for a few days, I said it was a shame to let them expire. We better cook something with them. And I crocheted these rolls, which turned out to be very tasty.

ingredients (for portion)

  • 2 slices of boneless pork chop
  • 4-5 potatoes
  • 1 slice of bacon
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 1 tablespoon hot mustard
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons hot paprika
  • 2 teaspoons ground rosemary

I also peeled the potatoes. I cut them in half (if they were bigger I would cut them in quarters) and put them to boil.

When they started to boil, I left them for about 7 minutes (I didn't want them too boiled) then I drained the water and let them cool. In the meantime, I beat the chop slices.

& Icircntr a bowl, I put the mustard, and over it I put 1 teaspoon of paprika and one teaspoon of rosemary.

If I still had the spices & icircn m & acircnă, I also put over the potatoes. Another teaspoon of paprika and one teaspoon of rosemary. I also put the olive oil

I mixed them well too.

Then, on each slice of chop, I put a thin layer of mustard paste with spices. Over which I put the grated cheese on the large grater and the bacon cut into pieces.

I rolled the slices and caught them with toothpicks at the ends and in the middle.

I put them in a tray on aluminum foil.

I put them in the oven (I heated it before), over medium heat. After 10 minutes, I took out the tray and I & icircntors and the potatoes, and the rolls. After another 10 minutes, I took out the potatoes and left only the meat, about 5 minutes, maybe 6. It was penetrated, but I wanted it to brown a little.

Then I cut the rolls into slices and put them on the plate.

Of course, you can use slices of chicken breast, instead of pork. The chop isn't very greasy either, but it would be a little healthier. Good appetite :)

I'm already hungry, I'm going down to get something to eat. Although I know that I will not find something as appetizing as these rolls, but at least I will somehow stamp it. lust.

Miniquiche glasses with cheese and bacon

A kind of mini version of the quick version, because they are cooked with purchased dough. When they are hot, they melt in your mouth.
INGREDIENTS
IT TOOK
400 g package bought
FILLING is the recipe here
100 gr smoked bacon or bacon, kaizer, etc.
1 small onion
100 gr Gruyere cheese, Emmentaler etc.
150 gr sour cream
2 eggs
finely chopped greens
salt, pepper, nutmeg

PREPARATION Miniquiche glasses with cheese
Thaw the dough.
It even out with the twister on the sheet in which it is wrapped.
With a cutter or the mouth of a bowl (I have a metal one) cut round shapes of about 10 cm in diameter and place them in muffin cups. The leftovers of the dough, in that irregular shape, as it is, you garnish them with grated cheese and bake them, you will devour them like mini-pies. In the tranche of the final pictures, I made it look better, I placed the dough inside the cup and it was nicely filled.

In a pan (no added fat) fry the bacon over low heat until crispy. add the julienned onion at the end without burning it. drain the fat and distribute in glasses.

Grate the cheese and sprinkle it.

Top with a spoon the mixture of beaten eggs with a fork, sour cream, finely chopped greens (parsley) and spices. Very little increase in baking stuffing, keep in mind to leave a few millimeters empty before baking.

Bake at 180C for 25-35 minutes, leave if it doesn't look brown on the edge.

They are also very good to take with you. They are better heated in the oven if they have cooled.

Fluffy croissants with ham and cheese

Fluffy croissants with ham and cheese & # 8211 I was telling you the other day about the puff pastry dough. That dough is not fast compared to that! This is even faster and very nice to work with.

It's true, it seems to taste more intense in butter, but this is also very good and the horns are wonderful, fluffy, consistent! Try them at least once and I guarantee that it will become your favorite dough for croissants!

You can choose salty, sweet fillings, as you wish!

Ingredients Fluffy croissants with ham and cheese

  • 500 g flour
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 125 ml yogurt
  • 125 ml milk
  • a spoonful of sugar
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 70-80 g butter with 82% fat
  • an egg yolk
  • thin slices of cheese & # 8211 I like the one sliced from Lidl, PILOS
  • thin slices of gypsy muscle, ham, sausage & # 8211 I put gypsy muscle from Lidl, with & # 8220clear label & # 8221
  • for the sweet version, put 3 tablespoons of sugar in the dough, not one and fill it with squares of chocolate, vanilla cream, jam, etc.

Method of preparation Fluffy croissants with ham and cheese

Put the yeast together with 50 ml of warm milk and 3 tablespoons of flour in a bowl, mix gently until smooth (it should have the consistency of cream, if necessary add a little more flour) and leave in a warm place for 10 minutes & # 8211 or until you notice that it has increased nicely in volume.

Put flour, eggs, salt and yeast in the bowl, then gradually add the milk with the yogurt (slightly heated together) and mix.

Turn the dough over on the work table and start kneading, using the flour.

If the dough requires it, you can add a little more flour.

Knead for 10 minutes or until the dough is elastic and non-sticky. The more you knead the dough, the more pleasant it will be to the touch, although it is initially sticky.

Divide the dough into 8 equal balls.

On the floured worktop, spread each ball in a sheet of 20-22 cm (you will spread all the sheets evenly!) And grease with butter previously left at room temperature (divide the butter so that it reaches 7 sheets).

Overlap the sheets as you spread them out and grease each one.

Only the last sheet remains ungroomed.

Sprinkle flour on the counter and spread the pile of overlapping sheets in a large round sheet, 42-43 cm.

Divide it into 12 equal parts & # 8211 as in the pictures.

Put on each piece, at the base, the chosen filling & # 8211 in my case thin slices of cheese and gypsy muscles, then gently roll the croissants starting from the base. Place them in a tray lined with baking paper.

Put the tray with fluffy croissants with ham and cheese in a warm place for 30 minutes (tip: heat the oven for 3 minutes, turn off the heat and put the tray in the oven) and another 30 minutes in the fridge.

After an hour (30 minutes hot and 30 cold) take the croissants out of the fridge and grease them with beaten egg yolk with a little milk.

Put them in the oven, on step 3 (middle) for 15-20 minutes. They must be nicely browned.

How to prepare accordion potatoes with bacon and cheese

Wash the potatoes and peel them with a vegetable peeler.
Slice without peeling the slices from each other (I used a skewer stuck 1 cm long from the base of the potato so that the knife can not penetrate to the bottom).
Melted butter is mixed with oil, pepper, garlic powder, turmeric and paprika.
Sprinkle the potatoes with salt and grease or pass through the flavored butter so that it penetrates the slices.

Place in a gratin form, add about 100 ml of water, cover with foil and place in preheated oven at 220 degrees C for about 1 hour or until potatoes are penetrated.
Remove the form from the oven, let it cool a bit and then spread it alternately with slices of bacon and cheese.

Put the form back in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and the bacon browns & # 8230in the last 3 minutes I recommend selecting the oven on the grill function position 2 to brown evenly.
These potatoes breaded with bacon and cheese are served hot, with Greek yogurt, crispy bacon and a assorted salad.
